由獨立藝術家毛維和黃翠絲於2018年創立，創作題材以探討自己與當下社會的人性為主要方向，多以雙人舞的方式呈現作品。他們熱衷於身體的開發和雙人舞的技巧與研究，探索深具個性的身體特質別樹一幟的風格；作品中細膩的雙人舞與強烈的視覺衝擊是作品是他們一大特色。近年兩人備受注目, 獨特的動作語彙，使他們鶴立於香港年輕世代中！

兩個人，兩個截然不同的思維，用雙重爆光的形式，將兩種思維重疊以一個全新的視角去觀察世界，在生活中尋找靈感，在經歷中成長。著重對於人性與本質的挖掘，研究與創作，真實的情感；發掘更多關於自身經歷的更深層次的認識，且有無限的可能性與隨機性，本著繼續探索的心態，回歸人身體的自然美。

Our Story

Mao Wei and Tracy started to work and collaborate since 2013, and they formed an artist platform MW Dance Theatre. CREATING AND PERFORMING. They are keen on the development of the body and to explore the physical characteristics of the unique style; delicate partnering work with a strong visual impact is a major feature of their works. They were commissioned and presented their work Pardon and Mapping by the 43rd Hong Kong Art Festival and the 44th Hong Kong Art Festival. They also invited by the 27th Macau Arts Festival to present their full-length duo work Shelf Life in 2017. Their work Pardon was invited to 22 Masdanza International Contemporary Dance Festival-Choreography Contest in 2017, and award the Le Gomera Choreography Centre Artist Residency.

They specialize in the use of images to create an atmosphere and feelings to give people direct visual impact and their own imagination. In recent years. They have attracted attention and representative of young generation in Hong Kong art scene.

Their work PARDON, MAPPING and SHELF LIFE were toured at Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, GuangZhou(China), Chengde(China), Fukuoka(Japan), Korea, Cadiz(Spain), La Gomera(Spain), Gran Canaria(Spain), Corfu (Greece), Amsterdam and Hannover.
